  • HMS Ardent fue un navío de línea armado con 64 cañones botado en 1764. fue capturado por la escuadra franco-española de Luis de Córdova y Córdova en 1779 en el transcurso de la Guerra de la Independencia de los Estados Unidos, que quedó en manos de la armada francesa, fue recapturado por la Royal Navy en 1782 y renombrado HMS Tiger. Fue vendido en 1784.
