Un total de dieciocho buques de la Royal Navy han recibito el nombre de HMS Eagle.

  • 1592 y usado como pontón de carenado. Fue vendido en 1683.
  • cañones, anteriormente buque francés Aigle, capturado en 1650 y vendido en 1655.
  • HMS Eagle fue un buque de 22 cañones, nombrado previamente 1660, fue designado como brulote desde 1674 y echado a pique en 1694.
  • 1670 y utilizado en 1671.
  • navío de línea de 70 cañones botado en 1679, reconstruido en 1699 y desguazado en 1707.
  • 1696 y desguazado en 1703.
  • 1745 y vendido en 1767.
  • balandra de 14 cañones botada en 1745. Su destino, es desconocido.
  • 1774. Fue atacado por el sumergible Guerra de IIndependencia de los Estados Unidos, fue destinado a servicios en puerto desde 1790, y renombrado HMS Buckingham en 1800. Fue desguazado en 1812.
  • cañonero de 4 cañones, anteriormente holandes, fue adquirido en 1794 y vendido en1804.
  • bergantín de 12 cañones, anteriormente al servicio de Francia con el nombre Venteux. Fue capturado en 1803, se le renombró HMS Eclipse un año después y fue vendido en 1807.
  • 1804. Se redujo su armamento a 50 cañones en 1830, y fue designado como buque escuela en 1860, fue renombrado HMS Eaglet en 1918. Se perdió en un incendio accidental en 1926 y el pecio, fue vendido en 1927.
  • bergantín construido en 1812. Fue capturado por los americanos en 1812, y fue recapturado en 1813, momento en el que fue renombrado HMS Chubb y vendido en 1822.
  • HMS Eagle fue uno de los primeros portaaviones, convertido desde el acorazado inconcluso chileno 1918, y hundido en 1942.
  • HMS Eagle debería haber sido un portaaviones de clase 1944, y cancelado en 1945.
  • 1946 y desguazado en 1978.

También existió el 1648, que permaneció activo hasta 1653.
