HMS Monarch

Cinco buques de la Royal Navy británica, han recibido el nombre HMS Monarch.

  • El primer navío de línea de 74 cañones, originalmente, francés de nombre Monarque, capturado en 1747 en la segunda batalla del Cabo de Finisterre, fue vendido en 1760.
  • El segundo 1765, y era otro navío de línea de 74 cañones. Fue el buque insignia del Vicealmirante Onslow en la Batalla de Camperdown de 1797. Fue desguazado en 1813.
  • El tercer 1832, y era un navío de línea de 84 cañones, fue desguazado en 1866.
  • El cuarto 1868, y era un buque-torre ironclad, fue vendido en 1905.
  • El quinto Monarch, fue botado en 1911, y fue un acorazado de clase Orion. Participó en la Primera Guerra Mundial y fue hundido como objetivo en 1925.
