HMS Northumberland

HMS Northumberland ha sido el nombre de ocho buques de la Royal Navy británica, en honor al condado inglés de Northumberland, o al Duque de Northumberland. Se planeó otro más, pero fue cancelado:

  • navío de línea armado con 70 cañones botado en 1679. fue reconstruido en 1701 y se hundió durante la gran tormenta de 1703.
  • Ushant en el año 1744.
  • pontón en 1827 y desguazado en 1850.
  • acorazado de clase buque escuela. Fue convertido en pontón y renombrado C8 en 1909, y de nuevo, fue renombrado C68 en 1926. Fue vendido en 1927.
  • HMS Northumberland debería haber sido un crucero pesado de clase County ordenado en 1929 pero fue cancelado en 1930.
  • fragata del Tipo 23 botada en 1992 actualmente en servicio.

La HMCS Northumberland debería haber sido una fragata de clase River de la Real Armada Canadiense, pero la orden, fue cancelada en 1943.
