Es un sub-género del Trance Europeo que se destaca por sus beats muy duros (casi como los del Hardstyle, ya que tambien esta considerado como genero hard), con ritmos muy ácidos y muy sintéticos. Además tiene Samples de sonidos de campanas, de timbres de casa. Con cambios de BPM en casi todas las partes cantadas como Everytime We Touch de Cascada. Sus letras son particularmente parecidas al Dance de los 80 & 90' (Dance|Club-House y House). El Hands Up! es conocido por sus melodías pegadizas divertidas y su base contundente.

En japón hicieron música parecida a esta pero con letras Bubblegum (Infantiles) y otros parecidas a la música de Cascada pero cantadas en español. Alex & Giro son los percursores de este sonido alemán en España y Francia. En México el pionero y máximo exponente es Dj Kspr-V (del colectivo Technosphere), pero tambien han contribuido Tryptozyk y Ar-BassJ, ademas en pocas ocaciones Polymarchs lo ha llegado a mezclar con otros generos como el Eurodance, U.K. Hard House y Hard Trance.
