Honey (AFI: [o'nei]) es uno de los 217 municipios del estado de Puebla (centro oriente de México). Se localiza en la región de Huauchinango, al norte del estado. La cabecera de este municipio es la población del mismo nombre, aunque también se le conoce con el nombre de Chila Honey. El nombre del municipio fue tomado en honor de Ricardo Honey, un industrial textil.

Geografía

El municipio de Honey tiene una superficie de 93,12 kilómetros cuadrados. Se localiza en el noroeste del estado de Puebla. Limita al norte, oeste y sur con el estado de Hidalgo y al oriente con el municipio poblano de Pahuatlán. Forma parte de la región de la Sierra Norte de Puebla, que a su vez es una de las cadenas montañosas que componen la Sierra Madre Oriental. Como otras partes del norte poblano, el municipio de Honey tiene un relieve muy accidentado y de difícil acceso. Las elevaciones alcanzan una altitud de 1300 msnm. Una pequeña porción del territorio desagua en la cuenca del río Pánuco, aunque las corrientes más importantes que nacen en las montañas de Honey son tributarias de la cuenca del río Tuxpan. El clima dominante es templado con abundante lluvia en verano.
