Howard Nemerov

Howard Nemerov (* 29 de febrero de 1920 - † 5 de julio de 1991), fue un poeta estadounidense, además fue un poeta laureado en 2 ocasiones: la primera fue de 1963 a 1964 y la segunda fue de 1988 a 1990.

Su familia era muy interesada por las artes, pues su hermana, Diane Arbus, era fotógrafa.

Recibió muchos premios por sus poemas escritos.

Comenzó a escribir su primer libro de poemas en 1944.

Su último poema escrito fue en 1991.

Falleció el 5 de julio de 1991, a los 71 años de edad, a causa de cáncer.
