El IK Start, es un equipo de fútbol de la ciuad de Kristiansand, en Noruega.

Historia

Fue fundado el 19 de septiembre de 1905.

En 1978 y 1980 consigue el título de la Liga Noruega de Fútbol.

Los años desde 1995 hasta 2004 fueron bastante turbulentos. Tras algunas inversiones, ese año 2004 logra el ascenso a la Liga Noruega de Fútbol, consiguiendo el año siguiente el subcampeonato detrás de Vålerenga IF tras un apretado final.

La temporada 2007, desciende a la Segunda División de Fútbol de Noruega, aunque vuelve a Tippeligaen la temporada siguiente.
