I Am The Devil Slaying fue una banda de Death metal, de Nezahualcoyotl, Estado de México, creada en el 2008.

Historia

El Nombre del grupo nace en honor a las bandas más escuchadas por los integrantes, que son Iamerror, The Devil Wears Prada, y Slayer, grupos de los que la banda poseee algunas influencias, aunque el género sea completamente distinto.

La banda es un proyecto iniciado por sus dos integrantes con apoyo de su Producción y Representación, Elisa Cruz Jiménez, iniciando desde cero a tocar los instrumentos musicales.

En el momento cuando decidieron la creación de la banda, comenzó con mucho ánimo la idea de utilizar frases o palabras cortas para titular las canciones, aunque en algunas canciones la palabra o título parezca que no tiene nada que ver con la letra de la canción, si lo tiene y tiene una relación muy fuerte, ya que más que una idea directa, el título tiene una relación con la letra un tanto más difícil de entender.
