Ilori

Ilori (Abjasio:Елыр, -Elir-; georgiano:ილორი) es un pueblo del distrito de Ochamchira, en Abjasia, situado junto a la costa del mar Negro, con una elevación máxima de 10 metros sobre el nivel del mar. La primera mención que se tiene de Ilori es en el siglo XI; durante la Edad Media formó parte del Principado de Odishi, hoy aproximadamente correspondiente con Mingrelia.

El pueblo destaca por sus arquitecturas medievales, entre las que sobresale la Iglesia de San Jorge de Ilori, construida en el primer cuarto del siglo XI, así como por Elyr-nykha, uno de los Siete altares de Abjasia.
