Jack DeJohnette

Jack DeJohnette (n. 9 de agosto de 1942, Chicago, EE. UU.) es un baterista de jazz.^[1] Es asimismo pianista y compositor.

Se da a conocer como miembro de la banda de Charles Lloyd, un grupo que incluye al pianista Keith Jarrett. Después de grabar dos discos con Jackie McLean, con Herbie Hancock, con Joe Henderson, y con Bill Evans, en 1968, se integra en la banda de Miles Davis (1969 a 1972). Durante su época con Davis, también graba discos con Wayne Shorter, con Chick Corea, con Lee Konitz, con Miroslav Vitous, con Freddie Hubbard, entre muchos otros. Al dejar la banda de Davis, graba con artistas de la talla de Sonny Rollins, Stanley Turrentine, Keith Jarrett, Cannonball Adderley y McCoy Tyner.
