John Allen Astin es un actor y director de los Estados Unidos de América, nacido el 30 de marzo de 1930 en Baltimore, Maryland. Es famoso por haber interpretado a Homero Addams en The Addams Family. También sustituyó al actor Frank Gorshin como el villano Riddler en dos episodios de la serie de TV del Batman.

Su ultimo trabajo fue en la película llamada Starship II: Rendezvous with Ramses que se estrenó en el 2008, donde interpretó el personaje del Professor Peabody.
