John Everett Otto nació el 22 de marzo de 1977 en Jacksonville, Florida. Es conocido por ser el batería original de Limp Bizkit.

Biografía

John Otto comenzó tocando la batería a los 19 años, mientras estaba en una banda de jazz. Otto, Fred Durst y Sam Rivers fundaron Limp Bizkit en 1994.

Otto ha estado presente en todas las grabaciones de los discos de la banda, excepto en la de The Unquestionable Truth (Part 1), dónde tuvo que dejar la grabación para tratarse de su adicción a las drogas. Otto sólo pudo grabar un tema de ese disco, The Channel. Los demás fueron grabados por Sammy Siegler, batería de Rival Schools y Glassjaw.

Actualmente, Otto se encuentra rehabilitado de su adicción. Otto ha estado dando clases de batería en Marina del Rey, California e interesándose en el rap. Incluso tiene un grupo llamado Sun Zoo. Otto niega que sea un proyecto nuevo fuera de Limp Bizkit, porque está dispuesto a trabajar con la banda en el próximo álbum. También cuenta con otro proyecto paralelo con un grupo llamado Stereo Chemix, al que se le pueden escuchar algunas canciones en el MySpace del Baterista.

Actualmente vive en Hollywood, California.
