Kach

Kach fue un partido israelí nacionalista-religioso fundado por el rabino estadounidense Meir Kahane. Adherido a una corriente de pensamiento radical del sionismo, el sionismo religioso. Fue prohibido en 1994 por el gobierno israelí amparándose en las leyes anti-terroristas de 1948, después que declararan su apoyo a la matanza cometida en Hebrón por Baruch Goldstein, afiliado a este partido.

Actualmente, figura en la lista de organizaciones terroristas del gobierno de los Estados Unidos, la Unión Europea y Canadá.[1] Después del asesinato de Kahane, el movimiento se escindió en dos, Kach y Kahane Chai, literalmente « Que viva Kahane ». Kach estuvo dirigido al principio por el rabino Avraham Toledano y después por Baruch Marzel, de la colonia de Hebrón. Kahane Chai estuvo dirígido por el hijo de Meir Kahane, Binyamin Ze'ev Kahane, de la colonia de Kfar Tapuach, hasta 2000. En esta fecha él y su mujer son asesinados por los palestinos, al inicio de la Segunda Intifada.[cita requerida]
