Return of the Living Dead Part II (El Regreso de los Muertos Vivientes Parte II en México, La divertida noche de los zombies en España) es la secuela de la película The Return of the Living Dead de Dan O'Bannon. Protagonizada por Michael Kenworthy, Marsha Dietlein, Dana Ashbrook, Thom Matthews, Suzanne Snyder, James Karen, Philip Bruns y Thor Van Lingen.


Argumento

Jesse Wilson (Michael Kenworthy) junto a dos chicos Billy Crowley (Thor Van Lingen) y Johnny (Jason Hogan) descubren en una alcantarilla cerca del cementerio un barril con Trioxin y un muerto dentro de el, Jesse escapa del lugar pero Billy abre el barril dejando salir el Trioxin sustancia que regresa a la vida a los muertos. Mientras tanto Joey (Thom Matthews) y Ed (James Karen) roban cabezas de los cadáveres y son testigos de como los muertos regresan a la vida, Ed y Joey salen del lugar en busca de Brenda (Suzanne Snyder) la novia de Joey, juntos corren al pueblo. Jesse se encuentra en su casa con su hermana Lucy (Marsha Dietlein) y Tom Essex (Dana Ashbrook), desesperados entran a la casa Joey, Brenda y Ed, les cuentan lo sucedido y juntos deciden huir del pueblo usando el auto del Doctor Mandel (Philip Bruns), durante la noche los sobrevivientes trataran de escapar de los zombies come cerebros dando lugar a situaciones cómicas como terroríficas.
