Sir David León Levy: Nace en Kingston, Jamaica; fue cónsul Británico en el territorio de Ríohacha (Península de la Guajira), alrededor del año 1819 fue oficial de la Legión Británica de Bolívar (Batallón de Cazadores Británicos), condecorado con la orden “Busto del Libertador” recibida de manos del Libertador Simón Bolívar (vale la pena mencionar que el postulante a esta condecoración tenía que vencer en batalla tres veces además tenían que ser honorables hombres con grandes talentos y virtudes militares.) y también fue condecorado con la orden “Ayacucho” recibida de manos del General José Antonio Páez. Luego fue cónsul de Venezuela en Santo Domingo y obtuvo el título de Sir otorgado por la corte Británica. David León Levy contrajo matrimonio dos veces; la 1ª vez con la Sra. Abigail De Sola con quien tuvo un hijo y Luego de haber enviudado; las segundas nupcias fueron con Doña Esther García con la cuál tuvo ocho hijos.
