Leonidas Pyrgos, (1871) nacido en Mantinea, Arcadia, fue un esgrimista griego.

Se convirtió en el primer medallista olímpico griego en la historia de los Juegos Olímpicos modernos tras ganar la competencia de esgrima de los Juegos Olímpicos de Atenas llevada a cabo el 7 de abril de 1896. La competencia consistía en un único enfrentamiento con florete a tres toques. Su adversario, el francés Jean Maurice Perronet, era uno de los mejores espadachines del mundo. Pyrgos obtuvo la victoria en una competencia muy reñida, con un resultado de 3-1. Los espectadores vitorearon al primer medallista griego, quien fue paseado por las calles de Atenas sobre los hombros de la multitud.
