Martin Ennals

Martin Ennals (1927 - 5 de octubre de 1991) fue un activista pro Derechos Humanos británico.

Fue nombrado Secretario General de Amnistía Internacional en 1968, cargo que ostentó hasta 1980.

Los Premios Martin Ennals para defensores de derechos humanos, creados en 1993, se conceden anualmente a cualquier persona que haya demostrado una incansable y excepcional labor en la lucha contra las violaciones de derechos humanos mediante medios innovadores y valientes. El ganador lo elige un jurado compuesto por diez organizaciones dedicadas a la defensa de tales derechos.
