Milburn Stone era un actor estadounidense muy destacado en Estados Unidos al igual que su tío Fred Stone, quien también era un actor famoso. En el año 1935, Milburn decidió mudarse de Kansas a Los Angeles, California, para probar suerte en su carrera de actor. Comenzó a aparecer en películas con papeles de detectives, reporteros, convictos y villanos.
