Moussa Yahaya nació el 4 de enero de 1975 en Níger. Es un futbolista que juega de delantero, y ha sido internacional con la selección de su país. Ha jugado en el GKS Katowice, Albacete Balompié, GD Chaves y desde el 2001 en el Legia Warsaw de la Primera División. En la temporada 2005/2006 jugó en la 4ª división polaca en el Rega-Merida Trzebiatów. La temporada 2006/2007 juega en cuarta división de la liga polaca, en el Mazur Karczew.

Su estancia en Albacete (1996-2000),fue una etapa muy importante en su vida, y la ciudad demostró un gran cariño hacia el jugador. Se le conocía por “Yamaha”, dada su velocidad sobre el campo y el parecido de su apellido con el de la marca de motos, también lo llamaban "Weah".

El Real Madrid se hizo con una opción de compra, pero que no llegó hacer efectiva.
