“Death before disco” es una canción del grupo estadounidense My Chemical Romance, que será incluida en su cuarto álbum de estudio.

Gerard Way, vocalista del grupo, ha manifestado que es una canción destacada de entre el resto. En entrevista con la revista Rolling Stone, Way comentó que la canción presenta un sonido completamente diferente para la banda, y que, en cuanto a la letra, es un retorno a la ficción de su primer álbum, I brought you my bullets, you brought me your love; también dijo: “Para mí, es la más grandiosa canción que jamás hemos escrito; es mi canción de My Chemical Romance favorita”. Además, comparó este tema con una emblemática canción del estadounidense Bruce Springsteen: “Creo que hemos escrito nuestra propia ‘Born to run’, y estoy histérico respecto a ella”.[1]
