Nacido el 20 de octubre de 1977 es un actor estadounidense de televisión,conocido por su papel de Davis Bloome en la serie Smallville.

Sam Witwer creció en Glenview, Illinois, en las afueras de Chicago. Asistio a la Glenbrook South High School en la cual estuvo involucrado en el teatro y clases de teatro, así como es cantante de una banda de la escuela secundaria. Asistió a la Juilliard School de Drama.

Recientemente, Witwer ha aparecido como un soldado en The Mist, y como "Crashdown" en Battlestar Galáctica, y publicó un CD titulado "Colorful of the stereo."] Tambien es el personaje principal del video juego Star wars: The force unleashed en el que tambien presta su voz.
