El Bob Cousy Award, o Premio Bob Cousy es un galardón que se concede anualmente al mejor base de la NCAA, la liga universitaria de baloncesto. Este premio se otorga desde el año 2004, y es otorgado por el Basketball Hall of Fame. El nombre del mismo hace referencia a Bob Cousy, considerado uno de los mejores bases de la historia del baloncesto.[1] El último ganador hasta la fecha ha sido en 2009 Ty Lawson, de la Universidad de North Carolina[2]

Criterios de selección

  • Reconocer la importancia vital del puesto en el equipo para el éxito del colectivo.
  • Crear la oportunidad para maximizar el potencial colectivo del equipo.
  • Liderar y dirigir a un equipo existoso.
  • Reconocer las bases del baloncesto: pase, dribbling y creación de juego ofensivo.
  • Conseguir un logro en equipo.[3]
