Ananga Ranga

El Ananga Ranga o Kamaledhiplava (Barco en el mar del amor) es un manual sexual hindú, escrito por Kalyana malla en el siglo 15 o 16. El poeta escribió esta obra en honor a Lad Khan, hijo de Ahmed Khan Lodi, relativos a la dinastía Lodi, que desde 1451 a 1526 gobernó la India.[1]

Fue traducido al inglés en el año 1885, editado por Sir Richard Francis Burton.

El libro da instrucciones de como un marido puede promover el amor por su esposa a través del placer sexual. La variedad de posiciones sexuales produce armonía, y previene que el matrimonio se canse uno de otro. Además, posee un extenso catálogo de posiciones sexuales para ambos componentes de la pareja, y otros detalles relativos al juego previo y la seducción.
