PokerStars

PokerStars es la compañía de póquer en línea más grande del mundo.

Los torneos satélite de PokerStars proporcionaron el título de campeón de las World Series of Poker en 2003 a Chris Moneymaker, en 2004 a Greg "Fossilman" Raymer y en 2008 a Peter Eastgate. Actualmente ambos son portavoces de PokerStars, al igual que Joe Hachem, campeón de las World Series of Poker de 2005, quien también es un jugador regular en el sitio.

Creada en septiembre de 2001, PokerStars era originalmente una empresa costarricense. Fue posteriormente trasladada a la Isla de Man, una dependencia de la Corona británica. PokerStars es licenciada por la Comisión de Supervisión de juego de la Isla de Man, y también por la Amministrazione Autonoma dei Monopoli di Stato (AAMS), de Italia.
